Choosing a Sunroom or Solarium Contractor:
A sunroom, solarium or conservatory is a typically glassed-in living space consisting of walls and a roof built entirely of windows that are held together by a strong cage of metal, wood, or vinyl. Primary considerations are how you intend to use the space, size, energy efficiency, view, budget and quality of materials to be used. All season, energy efficient enclosures may be a bit more expensive, but will also increase the value of your property, save on heating and cooling costs, and have more structural integrity. Ask your contractor to see samples of materials to be used and a portfolio of their work. As with any home addition, you will need a building permit and abide by local zoning regulations. All contractors on this site are licensed and bonded, but should you use another contractor, be sure to verify their Washington State Contractor's License.
Quick Tip: Low-emissive (Low-E) tempered glass not only offers better insulation than regular glass panels but is safer.
We were very impressed with the quote process and timeliness. They came out and within 24 hours gave us a quote which included taking out the old concrete. The amount of customization they were able to do was quite unexpected. They took the time to make sure our needs are met and maximized our space. The job was still finished within a week. Absolutely no leaks. Great crew. Amazing quality and follow up. ~ Madison Park, WA
Excellent company and product. Everyone on the crew went above and beyond what we expected. They are a very "can do" company. The price was competitive, they were very flexible in accomodating our requests, and offered great advice. ~ Renton WA
We love our new solarium. Very customer service oriented. He came over several times to check on the job to make sure the job was done right. The crew's work ethic was very good and the follow up was excellent. We are very happy! ~ Seattle WA
