Choosing a Skylight Contractors:

There are so many options for skylights in the marketplace. Traditional, tubular, opening, non-opening, and accessories. When choosing a skylight contractor look first for the model and options that you want and then at the company itself and how much expertise they have with the brands and skylight options you are looking for. Would you want a skylight that is a window to the outside so you can see the blue sky or one that will open to vent out warm air? Do you desire the large 2x2 or 2x4 square opening? You’d be looking at a traditional glass or acrylic skylight. If you’re looking for light with no maintenance, and accessory options like a bath vent kit or a night light option, you’d be looking for a tubular skylight. Each of these options will bring you natural lights and each have strengths in their particular design, such as heat transfer, venting, full spectrum light, window like performance, design options for the ceiling, glass, acrylic, and the list goes on. Once you consider the products and options you’re interested in, look for a contractor with a great track record for leak-proof installation and warranty maintenance; after all you are having someone cut into the roof. You want the installation to be a seamless blend of your existing roof or your new roof in the area of the skylight. Experience, available options, and warranty, are the three things that are essential in choosing your skylight contractor. All contractors on this site are licensed and bonded, but should you use another contractor, be sure to verify their Washington State Contractor's License.

Quick Tip: When ventilation is needed, a ceiling vent fan in combination with a fixed skylight or tubular lighting can be a better option than a skylight that opens.

What Customers are Saying:

Very impressed! They listened to what we wanted, and recommended the best location. They installed it with minimal impact on us. Everything was left neat and clean. We are very pleased with the result. ~ Olympia WA

Excellent company and product. Everyone on the crew went above and beyond what we expected. They are a very "can do" company. The price was competitive, they were very flexible in accomodating our requests, and offered great advice. ~ Renton WA

Very nice - love the natural light. Everything went really well. We have had no problems or issues. They were on time and did everything for the agreed price. ~ Lake Stevens WA

I love them! We have a northwest facing "daylight" basement that tended to be very dark. The company was very responsive to our needs and clear on their pricing. We are very happy. ~ Mercer Island WA
